Amana Healthcare Bahrain Marks 100-Patient Milestone
Amana Healthcare Bahrain, part of global health leader M42's world-class network of healthcare providers and established in strategic partnership with Bahrain Mumtalakat Holding Company (Mumtalakat), announced that it has reached a new milestone having cared for more than 100 unique patients since opening in December 2025.
The achievement reflects Amana Healthcare Bahrain’s growing role in strengthening the Kingdom’s continuum of care and expanding access to high-quality specialized services for patients with complex long-term care and rehabilitation needs. As Bahrain’s first-and-only dedicated provider of specialized long-term care and post-acute rehabilitation, the hospital continues to support the national healthcare ecosystem by enhancing recovery pathways, building specialized care capacity and helping patients and families access the right level of care beyond the acute hospital setting.
Since opening, Amana Healthcare Bahrain has reached 60% occupancy and built a 220-strong multidisciplinary workforce, reflecting the hospital’s rapid operational progress and its contribution to developing national healthcare capability in one of the Kingdom’s most specialized areas of care.
The hospital has also delivered strong clinical outcomes, reinforcing its position as a centre of excellence for complex rehabilitation. Patients undergoing post-acute rehabilitation have achieved an average 45% increase in functional gains, resulting in meaningful improvements in mobility, communication and cognitive abilities upon discharge.
Patient and family feedback further reflects the strength of Amana Healthcare Bahrain’s care model, with a 99% overall patient satisfaction rate and 98% willingness to recommend the hospital. These results underscore Amana Healthcare Bahrain’s commitment to combining outstanding clinical care with a compassionate, personalized experience throughout each patient’s recovery journey.
