Rafael is Diaverum’s Group Chief Executive Officer and Chief Operating Officer for Europe & Latin America. He leads the continued growth of M42’s patient care domains across existing and new markets, while overseeing the renal care business in Europe and Latin America.
Rafael joined Diaverum in 2018 as Country Manager for Diaverum Brazil. In 2021, he was appointed Regional Vice President, initially leading Iberia and Latin America, and in 2022 expanded his remit to include Central and Eastern Europe. In March 2024, he assumed responsibility for the whole of Europe.
Rafael is based in Lisbon, Portugal.
