Ashish Koshy is the Group Chief Operating Officer of M42, a leading health-tech company and Chairman of the Board at Malaffi – the Abu Dhabi Health Information Exchange.

Entrepreneurial and solutions-driven, Ashish is a business leader who specializes in converting difficult challenges into strong business propositions capitalizing on his extensive experience across sectors – from banking to telecom and healthcare, driving big data and AI strategies with global corporations. 

Under Ashish’s leadership, G42 Healthcare has accelerated from a rapidly growing start-up to becoming a leader in the region’s healthcare ecosystem within a short span, recognized for its world class infrastructure, flagship initiatives across advanced diagnostics, omics, digital health, pharma and environmental sciences, continually building on business excellence and innovation. He has been instrumental in the merger with Mubadala Health which has now resulted in creation of M42, an integrated healthcare powerhouse company with more than 20,000 employees and more than 450 facilities in 24 countries. 

Ashish has envisioned a holistic ecosystem of AI-powered solutions for current and future challenges, built on the public-private-partnerships model.  He has been directing multi-stakeholder large-scale national programs and strategic partnerships that have significantly augmented commercial and societal impact. 

For his exemplary leadership, Ashish has been recognized by Forbes in 2022 and 2023 as one of the Top 100 Healthcare Leaders in the Middle East, for leading a multifaceted, growing organization with disruptive next-generation solutions. 

Prior to joining G42 Healthcare, Ashish held senior roles as the Deputy General Manager - Technology Development & Innovation at Reliance Jio and Technology Planning at Ooredoo. 

Ashish holds an MBA from Alliance Manchester Business School and an MSc in Computer Networks from the Middlesex University, UK.
