Hasan Jasem Al Nowais is a distinguished business leader, currently serving as the Managing Director and Group Chief Executive Officer of M42, a tech-enabled global healthcare company headquartered in Abu Dhabi. Under Hasan’s leadership, M42 is transforming the traditional healthcare landscape by harnessing advanced technology such as artificial intelligence and cutting-edge sequencing that is enabling greater personalized, precise, and preventative care through M42's extensive global network.
Hasan holds influential positions including the Chairman of Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, the Rosewood Abu Dhabi, and the Four Seasons Hotel Abu Dhabi. He is also a Board Member of Yas Holdings and Chairman of Yas Holdings Healthcare Committee.
Before the introduction of M42, Hasan held the position of Chief Executive Officer at Mubadala Health. He played a crucial role in launching Mubadala Health as an independent entity, growing and integrating the network of facilities within its portfolio. He actively focused on enhancing patient experience, pursuing innovative solutions, driving collaboration across the sector, and forging global partnerships to elevate clinical outcomes.
Prior to that, Hasan joined Mubadala Investment Company (MIC) in 2007, where he was responsible for overseeing international hospitality projects across the United States, the Middle East, and other parts of Asia. Projects included prestigious brands such as the Viceroy Hotel Group, Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, and Rosewood Hotels and Resorts.
Hasan also held the role of Chief Administrative Officer of Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, where he successfully directed the operations of diversified strategic functions at the distinguished hospital.
Hasan is a graduate of the American University, Washington, D.C., and holds certifications from Cornell University and Harvard Medical School amongst others. In February 2023, he was ranked in the top ten of the Forbes Middle East list of Middle East Healthcare Leaders for the second consecutive year.
